Booking Terms + Conditions

A) BOOKINGS:
To secure a date, a signed contract is required with a $100 deposit due at the time of signing. The payment is non- refundable and non-transferable after five (5) days have elapsed from the date of contract signing. Please be advised, dates and scheduled service times will only be reserved when a signed contract and payment are received.

B) BOOKING TIMES
Contract will contain a start time and end time and approved by client. Each hair and/or makeup application requires a certain length of time to be finished and is not to exceed time limit. When reserving your date, book accordingly. Any additional hair and/or makeup needs outside contract will only be performed at the discretion of the hair and makeup artist. All persons involved in hair and/or makeup appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment in order to not break the contract. All makeup for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive in time (no gaps in between).

C) TRIALS
Trials are held at the Total Brides Studio in Tapping . A maximum time allowance of 2hrs is permitted for one service (hair only) or 3hrs for 2 services (hair and make up) any sessions extending this time frame will be charged at $50 per 30mins over.

D) LIABILITY:
Hands will be washed and sanitised before and during hair and make up services. All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary. Each client will have a dedicated brush kit . Any skin condition or allergies should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the hair and makeup artist, and all employees and agents from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

E) COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN
As part of the Australian Federal Government regulations for the beauty industry Georgia Bevan and Total Brides is required to implement the mandatory COVID-19 Safe Plan and maintain a client register. As such ALL clients will be required to complete a terms and conditions of service form (available separately) before any service can be carried out by Georgia Bevan or any contract artist/stylist of Total Brides. Failure to complete this form and acceptance of the terms and conditions will result in a refusal of service.

F) SATISFACTION GUARANTEED:
Hair and / or Makeup will be completed to client's satisfaction, but is not to exceed allotted time. Acceptance of completed application by client is acknowledgement by client that hair and / or makeup is done to his/her satisfaction.

G) PARKING FEES:
Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred, the amount will be included with the final bill and due for payment on the day of the event.

H) DELAYS:
A late fee of $25.00 may be charged for every 15 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if scheduled service exceeds allotted time because of client delays. Contract will state the times late fees will begin and the amount charged.

I) TRAVEL FEE: will be charged based on mileage from the Total Brides stylists home.

Distance 30 - 50km $50 per stylist

Distance 50 -70km $70 per stylist

Distance 70 - 100km $100 per stylist

Distance over 100 POA

J) AIRFARE AND ACCOMODATIONS:
All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but are not limited to: airfare, overnight accomodation, transportation, parking, per diem, service incidentals and all taxes.

K) USE OF IMAGE:
The Artist may use images taken of the Bride and bridal party for use on its website, social media or other promotional material.

L) SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the artist needs to complete the hair and /or makeups. A dedicated space which allows a minimum of 1..5 metres per set up area, this may mean a separate room for hair and make up artists if ample space in one room is not available. A “set up” table/work area needs to be made available at said location. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. A barstool / chair is requested. Please advise if access to location is difficult i.e; lots of stairs etc.

M) DELAYS:
Please be prepared to start at the allocated time. Please arrive with a clean face (NO MASCARA OR EYELINER) and clean dry hair (PREFERABLY WASHED THE NIGHT BEFORE) & be ready to start. This is very important so we can stay on schedule, and we can finish services in the allotted time. I will create a schedule for the day, and will send this by email to the Bride for review. I will work with other hair stylists or make up artists in coordinating the schedule. The list of people receiving services is due one week before your wedding. Please include full name & all services needed.

N) CANCELLATION POLICY:
Total Brides reserves the right to terminate this contract for any non-compliance of terms, contract will become void and all monies given are non-refundable. This booking arrangement cannot be changed after the artist/s arrives for the appointment. If the makeup artist cancels at any time or be unable to perform her duties for any reason every effort will be made to provide a suitable replacement in the event of a replacement artist not being available the deposit paid will be fully refunded within 7 days.. Client agrees that the refund of 100% of the deposit is the only liability to the Hair and Makeup Artist and any and all of its owners, employees and agents.
In such instances where a reduction in the number of people requiring our services 4 weeks or less before your event, you will still be charged for those people. It is best to find replacements.

Total Brides Cancellation Policy

Total Brides has a 72 hour cancellation policy when it comes to appointments and bridal trials held at our studio. Cancellation of these within 72 hours of your appointment will result in the forfeit of your deposit. Cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment or no shows will result in the balance of the appointment being due prior to rebooking.

Deposits are non refundable.

For bridal party bookings, any instances where a reduction in the number of people requiring our services 4 weeks or less before your event, you will still be charged for those people. It is best to find replacements.

Please note all appointments on a public holiday will incur a 10% surcharge.
